Meeting/Check-In
8:30 am at the concrete bench near the parking lot exit, above the waterfall. (We are not allowed to meet around the circle drive.)
The closest restrooms are in Lost Lake building.
We will begin check-in at 8:30, planning to move to the work site area between 8:45 and 9:00 am. We will be walking about a mile to our project location.
Volunteer Assignment
This will be our last volunteer event of 2025. With the warmer temperatures, invasive plants and weeds have started growing in our plant beds. Most are still pretty small and easy to remove by the root. By the time of our next opportunity to do this work, in a few weeks, there will be ample time for them to grow and spread throughout the beds. The last volunteers at this site did a great job. We should be able to wipe out the new things that have taken seed since then.
